COOKIE POLICY

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small files stored on a user’s device when they visit certain websites.
Among other purposes, they enable the site to operate correctly, remember certain preferences and, where applicable, analyse browsing behaviour.

2. What types of cookies this website can use

The PigData website uses the following categories:

Technical or necessary cookies

These are essential for browsing, remembering cookie choices and using the site’s features correctly. They are used without consent where strictly necessary to provide the requested service.

Analytics cookies

These are activated only with the user’s consent. We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to obtain aggregated statistics on visits, pages viewed and site interaction so that we can improve how the site works.

We do not use advertising cookies or grant Google consent for personalised advertising.

3. Cookies used

Evidence of consent

PigData keeps a technical record of each acceptance, rejection, modification or withdrawal: random identifier, decision, version of this policy, date and time, route and fingerprints non-reversible encryption of the IP address and the browser. The IP address is not kept in the clear. These records are protected with administrative access and are automatically deleted after three years.

4. Consent management

Cookies that are not strictly necessary will be installed only after the user has given prior consent.

On the first visit, the options Accept all and Reject optional cookies are displayed with equal prominence. The Settings option allows a specific choice about analytics cookies. Failing to accept, closing or ignoring the notice does not constitute consent.

5. How to modify or withdraw consent

Users may change or withdraw their consent at any time using the Cookie settings button, which is permanently available in the lower-left corner of the site.

When analytics cookies are rejected, the withdrawal of consent is communicated to Google and any PigData analytics cookies in the browser are deleted. Cookies may also be blocked or deleted through the browser settings.

6. Third party cookies

Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google Ireland Limited. When users accept analytics cookies, Google may process device and browsing information and make international data transfers under its applicable mechanisms and safeguards.

Further information is available in Google’s Privacy Policy and its information on Google Analytics privacy and data.

7. Updates to this policy

Farmtech Pigdata S.L. may amend this Cookie Policy if the cookies used change or if amendments are needed to reflect regulatory changes. If a change affects the purposes for which consent was given, we will request consent again.
